Mead Road Mardi Gras
Bringing the spirit of Louisiana to Decatur since 2005.
Important Announcement
January 14, 2026
After lots of thoughtful conversation, the Mead Road Mardi Gras (MRMG) board has decided not to produce our annual parade and party this year.
With limited volunteer capacity, we want to be sure that when we celebrate, we can do it safely, joyfully, and the way our community deserves.
Mead Road Mardi Gras isn’t going anywhere — we remain an active nonprofit organization and are already thinking about the road ahead.
If you’d like to help shape the future of the parade by joining our board, we’d love for you to reach out.
Thanks for sticking with us — we can’t wait to celebrate together again.
